What is the definition and meaning of a meritocracy?
A meritocracy is a political system in which economic goods or political power are vested in individual people based on ability and talent, rather than wealth, social class, or race. Advancement in such a system is based on performance, as measured through examination or demonstrated achievement.
If you live in a meritocracy you can achieve upward social mobility through your own merits regardless of your social position. While that may not always seem to apply, it is an ideal, and it is good to strive to achieve ideals.
The problem of upward mobility in any country is not so much a factor of outside conditions as it is your own thoughts.
Little consideration is given to the inherent power of thought. Your own thoughts hold the answer to upward mobility regardless of what country or type of government it has, although it may be easier to achieve upward mobility in a true democracy and free enterprise system.
I am introducing a concept that may be new to you by saying your belief system is the key to upward mobility in all geographic locations and regardless of your circumstances.

You are NOT meant to suffer!
Reality is not the dark and gloomy picture that is taught in the classroom and depicted on the news. There is no reason whatsoever to suffer in life. You do not have to work at a job you do not like in a grueling 9 to 5 life of pain and suffering followed by death and extermination of your existence. It isn’t that way at all!
This way of thinking is a symptom of a flawed model rather than flawed people.

Our meritocracy creates overload stress
In today’s globalized competitive world there is an enormous amount of pressure for outward achievement, from parents, peers and society in general. This is only one area where our cultural and social directives go wrong.
These demands are far too much, and we have people snapping. School shootings, homelessness, incarceration and division are a product of our meritocracy.
Excessive work and struggle unaided by thought management and learning is tragic. When we do not understand that our thoughts create our reality, we become stuck in the meritocracy.
Without application of conscious creation, there is little chance of effortless flow and achievement. This is a problem for people who are experiencing the hardships of the world’s myths that have us creating war, a climate emergency and food shortages that are on a dangerous trajectory.
No one is stopping people from learning but themselves.

American values in particular, stress the need to focus outward. This leads us to a situation in which we lose our connection with spirituality or our inner roots of sustenance. Our objective science is mechanistic because it does not realize an inner source dimension even exists. This is a dangerous lack of understanding that is causing our public and private problems worldwide.

What are the problems with our meritocracy?
Nothing is wrong with our meritocracy except for the values upon which we have settled. Those values have cut us off from our source to the point where we do not even realize what and who we are, or that an inner reality even exists.
Either we wake up or we will be stuck in a nightmare that will continue to grow worse. If you want to escape the problems that are typical of a meritocracy, understanding will help. It is what we do with our mind that makes a difference.

How you are creating a three-dimensional movie—your life
Imagine that in your living room you put on a holographic headset. At the click of a switch, you seem to no longer be in your living room.
Your senses are now telling you that you are actually on a tropical beach. As you reach down to touch the imaginary sand, sensor pads in gloves you are wearing give the sensation of pressure on your fingers.
This is an analogy to explain the purpose of your body and brain. Your body and brain are like a holographic headset that allows you to perceive a 3D movie you call your life.
You are not moving through time and space from birth to death―THAT IS THE PROJECTION YOU ARE CREATING.
If you do not see the objects behind you, they do not exist physically. There is a field of infinite probabilities behind you. When you turn to see what is there, you collapse one specific probability from an infinite range of probable events.

If we are believed to be products of survival of the fittest and accidents of evolution, we have no real intrinsic value. We do not even get out the gate and we are already devalued. Our official belief system is based on physicalism, Darwinism and an underlying distrust of human nature. The meritocracy values a kind of “anything goes” competition. This paradigm leads to chaos.
Within this context nothing of real value tends to be advanced. You could be an inept moron with no belief system or values, and you could get advanced. President Donald Trump embodies the values of our meritocracy and in doing so illustrates what will happen if we do not change our official mainstream beliefs. Disasters by morons will follow.
Those who are not cherished according to the values of the meritocracy could be brilliant people who are in the worst jobs or even homeless or in prison.

What is the definition of a meritocracy?
A meritocracy is a socio-political system based on the belief that leaders should be chosen for their abilities and not because of their wealth or birth. In a meritocracy those who achieve according to current social values get promoted and ultimately serve to guide others into the same system of values.
In a meritocracy, merit and hence upward mobility is based on talent, effort, and achievement, rather than factors such as heredity or wealth, sexuality, race, gender or age.
If there is to be a hierarchy, this is ideal. But who decides what deserves merit and why?
In any society, the long-standing consensus as to what determines merit comes from past generations. Values from the past are transferred to children and when they grow up, their values determine who deserves merit.
Our values, however, are based on the myths of physicalism. Internal science leads us in a more accurate direction.
