What is an authoritarian and authoritarianism?
Authoritarianism is a political system characterized by a controlling government and the rejection of democratic values and human rights. Authoritarianism is the advocacy of strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom. Authoritarianism is characterized by the lack of concern for the wishes or opinions of others.
Authoritarian behavior is controlling. A strict authoritarian demands obedience. Authoritarian governments are based on strict enforcement of laws with little tolerance for dissent.
- The authoritarian is taught that certain groups or categories of people cannot be trusted.
- Authoritarianism is antagonistic to self-trust or a belief in the goodness of human nature.
Often authoritarians distrust themselves, but this disdain for self is suppressed. As a result, an authoritarian may unconsciously punish themselves in various ways. They may also subconsciously project this emotionally held distrust of other people. Outwardly they may attack or prosecute others with vigilant righteousness.

The solution to the world’s problems and authoritarianism
In contrast to the authoritarian belief system and condition is the humanitarian who sees good in people and therefore wants to help others. Those who are humanitarian believe people are good and therefore give people the right to self-govern as in a democracy.
To be autonomous is to self-govern. Humanitarians believe in autonomy or the good in human nature and this drives their desire to help people. The American experiment and constitution is based on the virtue and rights of the individual.

Why do people see what they want to see? (The cause of divisiveness)
The science explains.
The organization I formed, Earth Network of Altruistic, Autonomous Individuals is based on my idea that people are good and capable of self-governing.
Authoritarianism is like a plague or pandemic that is causing the downfall of our civilization as it has done with other civilizations. My work and mission are based on the science of human altruism.
My first book, “The Solution…” is about the distrust of human nature threatening our civilization.

What are the core beliefs of authoritarians and bullies?
Authoritarian and bully psychology are based on a core set of beliefs in human unworthiness. It is an internal paradigm or set of values usually adopted early in life. Usually, the authoritarian isolates a specific group of people and projects all the negative ideas she or he holds about human nature on that group.
An authoritarian thinks the better people should control the inferior people. An authoritarian will degrade the people that he or she feels are inferior.
As an example, a prison guard or correctional officer often has an authoritarian view and feels society must be protected from inferior and unworthy people. Prisoners often feel the same way, that many inmates are just bad and must be held down to protect others.
Authoritarianism provides a rational or false justification for degrading others because it is based on negative theories about human nature that come from religion and materialism. Most bullies, those who abuse others, commit crimes, impose fines or prosecute are authoritarians.
People who intend to do good in the world yet think others are evil often begin to do “evil” themselves. They didn’t originally intend to be bad, but their behavior follows their beliefs, and this is what unfortunately happens. Putin, for example, wants to kill all the bad people.
An authoritarian does not like going easy on people, but wants strict punishments enforced by courts. Those that are punished often have a similar underlying belief in human unworthiness. They see society as the enemy and when they are punished, they are enraged. Punishment leads to or intensifies their hatred that drives them further into authoritarianism.
A humanitarian will always help and forgive whereas an authoritarian thinks some or all people are just broken or evil and cannot be fixed.
Authoritarians order humans around because of a deep and damaging distrust of human nature. A fanatical distrust of humans defines authoritarian thinking.
America is an authoritarian nation. The U.S. incarcerates a higher percentage of its population than any other country. Rather than help people for being good, the idea is to harm the bad people. This way of thinking is authoritarianism.
An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind.
Punishment spreads and drives an anti-social virus of contempt for human nature. The Earth Network plan to solve world problems is a powerful movement away from authoritarianism and toward life as opposed to death and destruction.
An authoritarian may try to be a good person because he is running from the belief that he is not good. People who are authoritarian will usually try to be good people while projecting contempt onto others. Authoritarianism is very much in line with mainstream beliefs in America and in the world.
Authoritarians tend to have a preference for strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom, desires, values, beliefs and opinions. Authoritarians tend to see some people as being inferior in some way. A person who is believed to be unable to make good decisions may be the “victim” of an authoritarian who insists on making life decisions for them.
An example would be Jim Jones, who orchestrated the Jonestown murder-suicide believed in the sinfulness of the world. In the end, all Jim Jones could see was the evil he felt was everywhere and in all people unlike himself. Jones preached the wickedness of others to the point of controlling his followers to commit the murder of their own children. Vladimir Putin is another example.

Authoritarianism: What is an Authoritarian? Bully Psychology & Degrading Human Nature
- What is an authoritarian and authoritarianism?
- What is authoritarian and bully psychology?
- Does an authoritarian and a bully degrade human nature?
I will answer these questions now
An authoritarian believes that those who are consider bad people must be controlled by the good or superior people.
Whether secular or religious, a philosophy that suggests human nature is unworthy or untrustworthy requires or looks to authoritarian rulers to be told what to do. Like a child’s parent dictating the child’s behavior, a strict authoritarian will attempt to dictate his constituent’s behavior, beliefs and liberties.
Patriarchal means “rule of the father.” Those who see males as natural rulers create gods that reflect their values. They belong to religions that demand obedience to a male god and a male ruler.
In the Middle Ages, strict patriarchal values kept humanity in bonds to an authoritarian church that dictated thinking, behavior and actions. Martin Luther broke the hold the authoritarian church had on the Western world. Martin Luther brought about the enlightenment movement which led to the creation of the United States of America, our democratic system, and constitution. The Enlightenment also brought about the industrial revolution. You can thank Martin Luther for your smart phone and liberties. To learn more, click below.
The values introduced in the American experiment with democracy see all people as being equal and therefore worthy of autonomy and self-governance. However, it is the people within the United States of America that choose their leaders, and if the people distrust their fellow humans, they may be inclined to elect authoritarian leaders. Democracy in the U.S. is in decline because of distrust of human nature built into the underlying philosophies of the people.
Those who elected former U.S. President Donald Trump tend to be in this category. They distrust people and are angry. Those they have elected are attempting to dismantle democracy and bring us back into the Dark Ages and the way things were before Martin Luther liberated the Western world.
Putin’s Russia and his values are an example of the way things were in the Dark Ages. Powerful authoritarians controlled the people, what they could believe, think and do.
Our world problems are meant to make us question the values driving those problems.
People who value life and see humans as being basically good allow autonomy and do not put people in prison at the high rate that the United States does.

"If existence is a manifestation of consciousness and that consciousness is creative and good, so are you, because that is what you are made of."

“You can become younger” — Eastwood
It is possible to become younger in this moment.
All time is simultaneous. Through emotional association we can activate cellular memory playback of times when we are young. This is because the past is still alive. To the body consciousness it is a condition of nowness.
You can also activate cellular memory by means of willpower and dream recall.
Our traditional beliefs about human nature create a downward spiral of thinking and behavior. However, as more and more people realize what is happening and abandon those beliefs, they begin climbing. Everything then changes in their lives."
— Eastwood.
Your positive nature is your protection. It is also the basis for a new global constitution that reflects the facts of science and how the universe actually operates.
Beware of those who say otherwise.
What is authoritarian and bully psychology?
Authoritarian and bully psychology arise from having been mistreated, and the shame and guilt that is internalized as a result. If, for example, someone is arrested for something and is put into prison, that person may feel misunderstood. Instead of accepting the degradation from police or inmates, he or she may complain that other inmate’s crimes are far worse. Eventually a pattern of thinking develops in which the other person is always seen as being the bad guy. Authoritarianism spreads from person to person in this way.
Authoritarianism tends to arise out of distrust of human nature or similar negative beliefs about people. If you are loved and have positive views of all people it is much more difficult to become authoritarian, but it is still possible.
One of a group of articles comprising a plan to save democracy
Authoritarianism cane arise from the idea that “might is right,” or “survival of the fittest,” but it can also be generated from religions that hold any aspect of the human experience in low regard. A bigot or prejudiced person may like some types of people but not others. Authoritarianism takes the idea that some people are evil or flawed to heart. They feel that these people must be forcibly controlled.
Humans who are seen as being of bad intent need to be treated more harshly. The bully and authoritarian tend to falsely justify harmful words, degrading and treatment of those they see as inferior for whatever reason. However, very few people are evil for the sake of being evil. We have made a great mistake as a civilization. We have learned to read human nature incorrectly. Our nature is actually good. It is beliefs that generate poor behavior, but not the innermost soul.
Why people see what they want to see, and create negative experiences
“Each person reads and experiences reality according to what they believe exists. If they hold a view of reality within themselves that is inherently limiting and/or negative, then this inner subjective reality and nothing else is projected outward into events and experiences so that everything conforms with their beliefs. They then cannot see anything outside of their own worldview. In effect, they become blind to any information that would free them from their inner and outer restricted reality.
“The negative focus on perceived enemies or opposition combined with the overlooked and unchecked power of consciousness and focus has been causing the world severe problems for a very long time only because we do not see the obvious.
“The solution is to understand that consciousness is altruistic.
“The people that seem evil don’t believe that the human spirit is basically good, and that’s the problem.
“My work is to explain that this is a scientifically validated fact in order to bring an end to global conflict and assist humanity in advancing into a new stage of incredible fulfillment, both private and public. That work begins with you.
“You can become a good or bad person in this life of yours — it is your choice.
“Yet, regardless of what you make of yourself in this life, your innermost soul is good. What you are at the deepest level IS good.”
— William Eastwood
Anyone can be an authoritarian. such as a police officer, prosecutor or lawbreaker.
Does an authoritarian and a bully degrade human nature?
Yes, an authoritarian degrades human nature. An authoritarian tends to see all people as flawed or sinful. This is how they falsely justify cruelty, violence and things like punishing people. An authoritarian or bully will not usually believe themselves to be bad and so they will project their innermost belief that human nature is evil on other people.
Authoritarians need a victim, a twisted person or an enemy to put themselves above. They will often create such an enemy by how they interpret people’s nature or behavior. They are almost always wrong about people. People are good inside, but many, many people feel otherwise.
It is people’s beliefs and behavior that can be bad, not the inner person, and this is what authoritarians and bullies do not understand.

The Reason Why He Will & Why it all happened.

Authoritarianism is an internal personal condition responsible for bipolar and other disorders
As we come to believe human nature is unworthy and accept some degree of authoritarianism, we split ourselves in two. The part of us that complies with the official beliefs (values and rules of society and hence authority) is considered good, and the spontaneous and nonconforming aspect of self is rejected.
The conflict between the authentic self and the forced self, as defined by psychology as being normal, underlies most of the social and personal problems and undesirable conditions in the world today.
The belief that humans are basically bad generates authoritarianism, the belief that authority is necessary in order to control and punish those who are out of line. In this view authority is good and many or all people are bad and therefore must submit to authority, even if that means accepting oppression.
According to authoritarianism, the path to becoming a good person involves domestication and taming, even having one’s spirit broken.
“Our belief systems are so toxic that some children decide it is too dangerous to communicate with the world and so they are born with what we call “autism.”
“It would be one thing if the world was intrinsically as we believe it is, but it is not. The negativity and chaos we experience is a projection of a failed negative belief system. Children that are born with autism are reacting to their parent’s and society’s core beliefs.
“Everything from bullying to excessive demands on individuals—the source of all our problems—is born of distrust of human nature around which our civilization is built.
“Einstein’s friend, David Bohm, gives us a scientific paradigm that explains how this is possible. Our reality is a holographic projection of our beliefs, thoughts and emotions.
“To create a new and successful civilization we must discard the highly negative myths that caused current failure and in their place project beliefs that will produce success.
“The global altruistic, autonomous movement is a rapidly expanding circle of people who are recognizing the non-competitive, cooperative and non-selfish workings of the universe. These beliefs will generate different behaviors, institutions that are more friendly and an overall transformed reality.
When all hope seems lost, when everything seems to go wrong, with democracy itself collapsing, is there anything that can be done?
Authoritarians can be hard on themselves also
We eventually become victims of our own authoritarian rules and self-regulate by punishing ourselves. We maintain our own domestication through harsh words and actions aimed at keeping ourselves in line.
A divided self is no better than schizophrenia however, and such a one usually spirals downward into despair. Attempting to escape the despair, we tend to enter into roles that allow us to bully others or complain about everything that is perceived to be wrong with others.
Bullying is a symptom of the belief that people are bad and authoritarianism as a way of dealing with it. It is an attempt to enforce the hierarchy of authoritarianism, punishing those who we falsely think must be punished, and submitting to authority. Bullies demand obedience. They also must always be right and the inferior victim wrong.
“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.”
— Albert Einstein
“If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed.”
