Because consciousness is an electromagnetic field, a strong desire will manifest as matter. You are in the physical world because you desire to experience physical life. When that desire diminishes, so does your hold on life. The same is true for specific events and objects. Maintaining desire, therefore will ensure that your business or personal goals persist as physical events and objects.
Desire is very important. On inner levels desire will immediately create the result desired. This is just how the universe works.
