June 6th it was reported that Special counsel Jack Smith subpoenaed the Arizona secretary of state’s office as part of his investigation into the Jan. 6 riot and the efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Smith was focused on two lawsuits, one filed by former President Donald Trump’s campaign and the other by former Arizona Republican Party chair Kelli Ward. Both falsely claimed that errors and fraud tainted the 2020 presidential election results.
About two dozens Mar-A-Lago staffers ranging from restaurant workers to Trump’s close aides have been subpoenaed in special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents. The Justice Department says it has enough evidence to charge Trump with obstruction in that case.

As for the January 6th investigation, Jack Smith has subpoenaed officials in all 7 states targeted by Trump allies in 2020 election, as well as former Vice President Mike Pence and Mark Meadows.
Pence testified before a federal grand jury on April 27th regarding Trump’s efforts to illegally remain the U.S. president by overturning the results of the 2020 election.
