The indictment and arrest of former U.S. President Donald J. Trump will take center stage in world headlines.
Once the investigation by special counsel Jack Smith is complete, the announcement of an arrest of Trump will shake the world. The clearing away of the special master and Trump’s inner circle are important steps closer to the indictment and arrest of former President Donald J. Trump.

Trump’s attack on democracy is every bit as severe as a military attack from a foreign power. Inaction is weak, indecisive and dangerous. If missiles were fired at New York, and if we were in New York, we would hope that our military would shoot down the missiles rather that build a case for doing so.
We cannot kill an internal threat obviously, yet we have a legal system and protections that we have not been using effectively enough. The internal threat posed by Trump has metastasized, but thankfully the January 6th Committee has taken action, and it appears that we will see strong action taken by special counsel Jack Smith within days, weeks or months.
We do not even know half of the story of what may be happening in all the ongoing investigations, but it is ongoing.
